Club Alka has got welcoming written all over it. A small and friendly family-run complex, you're never treated like a room number here. From the moment you check in until the moment you leave, nothing is too much trouble for the attentive staff. If relaxation is your number one priority, make a beeline for the extensive sun terrace. The star attraction here is the pool. Split into two roomy rectangles which are linked under an ornamental bridge, it's flanked by thatched parasols, sunbeds and luxuriant palm trees. And if you're travelling with little ones, there are two children's pools. Plus, you've got a handy snack bar on the Side. On the flip Side of swimming and sunbathing, you've got activities like pool to keep you occupied. And for younger guests there's a play room with DVD's, games and a Playstation. Of course, you could head off site. Footsteps down the road is the resort centre, with a hub of shops, bars and restaurants. Or the golden sands are just a couple of minutes walk. You really couldn't ask for a better spot in the location stakes. When it comes to wining and dining at Club Alka, the delightful al fresco restaurant can't fail to impress. With a beautiful garden setting, it's a lovely place for meals day and night. There are also occasional barbeque evenings here. Or if you fancy eating in, the light, airy and spacious apartments have well-equipped kitchenettes. And you can eat outdoors here, too – on your private balcony or terrace.
