An introduction to Villa Mandi
A collection of low-level apartments, the Villa Mandi Golf Resort centres around a pool fringed with palms and sunbeds. It's in a quiet corner of Campo de las Americas, overlooking a golf course, but that's not to say it's too far off the beaten track. A five-minute drive takes you to the sandy beach of Vistasur. In the same amount of time you can be in the shops, bars and restaurants of Los Cristianos. And there's plenty to do at the hotel itself. Cue activities like mini golf, pool and table tennis. Plus there are indoor play areas for the little ones.
As for the apartments, they're light and roomy and accessorised with modern furnishings. Plus, they're all kitted out with kitchenettes. Most of them have a private balcony or terrace, too. And if you want a night off from cooking there's a restaurant which offers buffet and waiter-service meals.
In summer, as part of our FamilyClub range, the hotel offers a fun-filled family getaway. Top attractions include the Thomson-run Kidzone club, which has action-packed sessions for 3 to 12-year-olds. There's also a shaded playground, a separate children's pool and mini discos, too. Plus you're not far from Siam Park, a Thai-themed water park that's crammed with thrill slides. Adults get a host of entertainment, too. A day and evening programme spans everything from quizzes and games to talent shows. And don't forget the golf course that's just next door.

We have just got back from our second trip to the Villa Mandi. My son cried (again) because he did not want to come home it is the best holiday you could wish for if you have children as they are totally occupied for the entire day in one form or another... more on this review
