The delightful Las Arenas sits opposite the small harbour at one end of Es Cana beach. The outdoor terrace overlooking this view is perfect for a leisurely breakfast while you plan your day. The founders of the hostel, the Colomar family, have their own bakery on site with fresh bread for picnics and an extensive range of cakes to choose from in the cafe/bar. Later in the day this is a popular choice for sipping one of the many cocktails on offer. Do be sure to sample the local aromatic liquor known as hierbas or the local speciality sofrit pages, a meaty stew.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was very good but a little pricey. Unfortunately the walls are quite thin and you could hear people coming back to the hotel at 3am. Also for some reason there was no hot water on... more on this review
