For film fans holidays to Ischia will immediately evoke memories of the Anthony Minghella flick, The Talented Mr Ripley. But there's much more to this jewel in the Tyrrhenian Sea than an entry in the annals of movie trivia. As everywhere in Italy, holidays to Ischia are inextricably linked with great food. What's more, you won't have to pay a fortune to enjoy some good quality local fare. There's a good selection of small, family run establishments serving fresh seafood pasta and pizza -including, of course, the famous 'Neapolitan' variety. And don't forget to round off your meal with a chilled glass of the famous limoncello liqueur, a favourite tipple right along the Amalfi Coast.
