Drosia Villa

Sweeping sea views and a high degree of privacy distinguish this very welcome addition to our Skopelos villas. Rather simple-looking when first glimpsed from the access track, albeit timelessly Greek with its whitewashed facade nestling amongst olive trees, the villa's arresting appeal becomes apparent once you step out onto its sea-facing terrace. The wide coastal panorama takes in the small harbour of Glossa and across the sea to the islands of Skiathos and even Evia shimmering in the distant haze.
A single bedroom and terrace on the first floor enjoy magnificent sea views, while the remaining two bedrooms share the ground floor with the shower room and an open plan living space, attractively furnished with wooden furniture and deep blue furnishings underneath a traditional pitched wooden ceiling. In addition to a terrace which leads from the living room, there is also a front terrace with views into the surrounding olive groves and fruit trees.
The attractive swimming pool is set below the house and is a fine place from which to admire the sea views, framed as they are by tall, bending pine trees. An alternative spot for repose is the shingle beach at Elios, just a ten-minute drive away.
